Sam had been here before and had told me good things (Mainly that they serve amazing food!) - I was not disappointed. We arrived as 2 muddy humans with 2 muddy dogs and the staff didn’t bat an eyelid! We were welcomed in, given a choice of tables and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
The Twice Brewed Inn could not be more dog friendly.! There were plenty of dog water bowls and the staff brought over some biscuits for Wells and Freya and generally made a fuss of them.
There was a big menu, and as you can see, Sam and I both went for burgers! They were delicious! We were here in November, but there is a beautiful beer garden out the back which would be ideal in warmer months.
We had such a lovely lunch here, we decided to visit again for Sunday Lunch before we headed home on our last day. We can report that their Sunday Roasts were also amazing, and the whole experience was equally as good as our first visit.
If you like your beers, be sure to visit their brewery shop which is adjacent to the pub. A great selection of different beers which we bought for Christmas presents. We were also offered samples, but sadly we had to decline as we were sharing the drive home… much to Sam's disappointment.
There are also dog friendly rooms and cabins at Twice Brewed so it would make an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas. They also have a planetarium and offer dark-sky, stargazing packages which we thought sounded brilliant.
If you find yourself in the area, make sure you visit. It is a great pub with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and they don’t care if you arrive with muddy paws!
What more can you ask for 😊
